Renter Data Handling

Your choice

You can accept or decline the inspection request. Declining records that you declined and closes the renter link. It does not record a consent-given audit event.

What happens when you accept

Propcharter stores your photos, condition choices, notes, timestamps, and technical audit metadata. The owner reviews and signs the final report before export.

AI processing

Photos may be processed by Anthropic in the United States to help draft condition observations. The owner must review the draft before signing.

Retention

Inspection evidence is retained for 7 years unless a shorter period is legally available and deletion is approved after review.

Requests about your data

To request access, correction, deletion review, or to make a complaint, send a POST request to /api/data-requests with your email, role, request type, and either your renter token or inspection ID. At launch, requests are manually verified before fulfilment.
